Hibiki is a typical otaku who lacks confidence in a typical city, annoyed (and jealous) at all the lovey-dovey couples at school and in town. One day, he discovered some materials left by his grandfather on hypnosis and studied it semi-interestedly. He tried it on himself first, instructing himself to become popular, to become the riajuu that he so despised. He fell asleep and the next day, he thought that the hypnosis didn’t work, but soon girls who weren’t interested in him at all before are all over him!
