Belaya pyl i Snezhnaya ten
December 1998. Petersburg.
Ivan, who has no last name, is a quiet, withdrawn teenager from an orphanage, accustomed to accepting life like a snowfall: inevitable, cold, and indifferent. He lives between gray buildings and his own fears, until one day a girl named Slavya appears on a winter bench.
Sunny, lively, and so out of place in the cold city. Their "white nights" consist of quiet meetings in a snow-covered park, conversations about books and music, a first timid affection, and mutual healing. Over three winter weeks, Ivan will manage to open his heart in a way he had been afraid to do his entire life. Bright walks, hot tea, snowfalls, laughter, despair, and that very feeling that arrives quietly, barely audibly. That is exactly how love arrives. But February is inevitable, and miracles do not happen. And Slavya, too, will have to take a step that changes everything.
