Scars of a Ghost

Kings is a former black-operations soldier whose official identity was erased after a staged death. Years before the war, he was a lost child in a Los Angeles orphanage, where he met Savannah Stevens, the girl who called him Bunny and taught him that firecrackers do not cry.

Years later, Kings has survived into scars, false records, and a private security company. Savannah has survived into silence, underworld power, and a city that learned to fear her. Each believes the other was lost.
