Since a traumatic event that has occurred in his past, Jonas Youngblood has always been able to feel the presence of ghosts around him: shapeless flames floating in the air, voices of agonising leaves and the blowing winds are various entities haunting his daily life.
However, one night, he is awakened by a first-time vision: a ghost he could mistake for a human, if it weren't for the ambivalent immateriality of his incorporeal body. The ghost, named Lazare de Saint-Flot, has one request: Jonas has to read the duology of books he wrote, La Llorona.
As romance blooms between the two, the novels might hold secrets Jonas would have best left uncovered...
