Farewell, Aqueous Stars

Banished from a world he once called his own and cast into servitude, a bird-man named Anka dreams of revenge. He counts the days until he can return to the stars, and dispatch the rulers of his people that deemed him unfit to exist among them.

Lost in a fugue of aimless depression, a young Hopi woman named Soyala spends her waning college days unsure of her future. She yearns to be outstanding and is desperate to be needed, but has come to believe she'll never be either.

Together, they seek to surmount the seemingly inevitable gravity of their fates. But through each other, they perhaps might come to better understand themselves...
