Life is pain. And if you live with alcoholic parents, it is double the pain.

Artem Belkin is an ordinary guy who is one day gifted a "best friend" by fate. This is Sasha Sobakin, a fellow poor soul with an even creepier backstory. They find each other in this cruel world and decide that suffering together is somehow more fun.

But suddenly, Sasha's former girlfriend crawls out of his past. She is a girl with an attitude and obvious signs of being a sociopath. She is incredibly unhappy that Sasha has found a new friend and is ready to do whatever it takes to destroy their fragile masculine "idyll".
