Nakazato Kazuma was put in charge of running the teahouse attached to his family home for the one month of summer vacation while his parents were away.
He planned to manage the small teahouse at a leisurely pace, but everything changed when a Chinese family restaurant opened next door to his house and demanded he vacate the premises for their parking lot expansion.
Insulted by their disregard for his teahouse, an enraged Kazuma accepted their condition: if he lost a tea ceremony competition against the family restaurant, he would move out. The problem was, he was a complete amateur when it came to the art of tea.
