"That Luka is long gone, Doc. When Alonzo Argyris died in that ditch, so did he."

After an awful night at the club he frequents to, Luka finds himself awake in a mansion, tucked far away from civilization and hidden in between the foliage of a forest. Within it, Luka encounters a face he thought he'd never see again; his deceased best friend— Alonzo Argyris, in the form of a cyborg.

Luka doesn't want to believe it. The cyborg has his lifelong friend's face and personality, yet his body is metallic, seemingly without a heartbeat. No matter how familiar he acts, this Alonzo still feels alien to Luka.
