The story is set in the Russian backwoods of the late 90s. The protagonist, Anton Petrov, is forced to move with his family from a big city to an unknown village in the taiga.
Tormented by visions and fear for his sister, Anton launches his own investigation into the disappearance of children. He also seeks to uncover the truth behind the strange children in animal masks appearing at the edge of the forest.
He has yet to face his own reflection, pick a side, find allies, or make enemies.
