After his doctor tells him he has only six months to live due to an incurable disease, a young human man named Matthias ventures into the untamed forest of Croft to investigate the elves, a race said to live for ages.

Deep within the forest, he meets a beautiful elf woman named Lydi, gradually becoming drawn to her and eventually falls in love with her.

But Matthias didn't have much time left.
