Rose Zhou is tired.

… really fucking tired. Graduated and struggling to find a job, Rose is feeling the pressure all around her. From her successful businesswoman mother to her stupid childhood nemesis, she’s desperate for an opportunity to prove herself. Being an artist in an industry that values profit over vision is tough– and made tougher by the sudden appearance of her not-so-guardian angel. Tasked with finding a job in 2 weeks, Rose must navigate networking, interviewing, and staying true to her creative spark or die trying.

JAS: Job App Sux! is a short visual novel from the perspective of an artist grappling with imposter syndrome and a competitive job market. Born from the experiences of JAS’s developers, this game invites the player to make choices for their future amidst a chaotic career landscape riddled with obstacles. What is the right path?
