Yuel Malek is in a state. As an alpha, Yuel is supposed to be on the top of the proverbial food chain, but this couldn't be further from the truth.

Yuel might be an alpha, but he isn't a stereotypical one. He's anxious and self-conscious, not full of swagger, and he often finds himself overwhelmed by his ruts. Afraid of his own sexuality, and worried of forcing his desires onto other people, Yuel retreats from society, and he even considers dropping out of university.

When in the midst of an especially bad rut, Yuel decides to turn to his older cousin, Tavi, for help. Like him, Tavi is an alpha, and Yuel is hoping Tavi can help him excise his urges.
