The protagonist, Hirayama Souichi, with no particular ambition in mind, chose a safe choice for his career consultation program and entered a university. However, he couldn't quite grasp what a teacher is supposed to do.

In order to find out, he searched a part-time job as related to teaching. Then, Nogihara Akane, his childhood friend and neighbor, told him that an ojousama, Sakaki Rei, was looking for a private tutor. He then took the job.
