Dusk

In 1992 a wave of unusual and gruesome crimes swept across the East coast of America, leaving eight dead and ten missing. Among those missing were two detectives, Josef Von Abend and his assistant, Shirley Ibsen. The culprit was never found, and after several years, the case was abandoned.

Ten years later, in 2002, amateur detective Marian Castallo receives a declaration of war, just as a similar wave of crimes begins, suggesting that Josef Von Abend may still be alive.
