Katagiri Mashiro is a male student who has a complex about being very easily scared.

By chance, he ends up sneaking into school at night, where he encounters a terrifying "monster".

When he is attacked by the monster and in dire straits, he is saved in the nick of time by a female exorcist, Nagi, his classmate.

After being scolded by Nagi for sneaking into school at night, Mashiro returns home in dismay... But for some reason, Nagi asks him to help with his work as an exorcist...?
