Two Strangers

The world ended 300 years ago.

Ravenous monsters who abhor life have destoyed it, and turned the world into a barren desert stretching out as far as the eye can see.

Kent's job is to destroy these monsters and protect the city of Muse, a scientifically advanced society that has managed to keep itself relatively safe in the centuries since the end of the old world.

One day while out on patrol, he tries to take on more then he can handle. Dying alone, he is saved by a stranger who takes him to an isolated house to rest and heal.
