The Skylette Mage

n the cold of a long winter Skylette trudges up the slopes of Aetherpeak during a heavy snowfall near her former home village, Mistyhollow.

However, the journey to her destination also stirs up long-repressed memories of her days living in the Church's orphanage and her childhood friend, Blair—along with a particular nun named Sister Aryiah who she always thought of as family. Plus, she sees vague glimpses of the nearby sunflower-covered meadows that glows so bright it catches the sunlight, but in winter all that remains are desolate fields.

Eventually when Skylette finally reaches a certain point up the mountain… it's there, she finds a glowing oval object that quickly attracts her attention. But she also runs into two very different strangers… one who is a fiery-spirited thief, and the other who is an ice phoenix.
