As a child, the protagonist dreamed of becoming a comic artist. But faced with strong opposition from their parents and mounting obstacles, that dream was eventually abandoned. Instead, they became a teacher.

One day, in the midst of their teaching career, they meet Yejin Un, a student being forced into an unwanted path by her parents—just like the protagonist once was. Moved by a desire to prevent Yejin from repeating their own mistakes, the protagonist decides to support her in entering an art contest.
