Ronald Kitzinger is on the verge of closing his supernatural investigation agency when he receives an unexpected call from an old friend to visit Kingston — a predominantly human town in the heart of Texas, filled with kindly people and picturesque scenery.

But Ron knows that’s a lie. He grew up in Kingston and knows that there’s something rotten at its core. The people lie and backstab each other. Hate is everywhere.
