Freshly escaped and desperate to avoid recognition, a rogue android finds the first safe harbor that will take them – an illegal repair shop they quickly learn is manned by another android. In lieu of the cosmetic repairs that they can't afford comes instead a gentle, if clumsy, exploration of social presentation that leads them to question their identity for the first time.
