Sam Williams is 50 and stagnant. When he decides to try some gardening to rebel against the monotony of his life, a chance encounter with the owner of the local gardening center shakes up more than he expected. Heath Rhodes is older than Sam but so full of life-- he should be everything that makes Sam feel bad about himself, but Heath's unabashed joy and kindness draw him in. As their relationship blossoms and Sam is contacted by his estranged daughter Daisy, he must learn how to nurture both his new plants and new relationships.
