Fast forward to 2359. Ren Ariwara is an orphan living at "Koropokkur Kotan." He's obsessed with Earth and hated by everyone around him. Recently on Tellus, more and more "Earth fanatics" like Ren have appeared—people who idealize Earth's past and technology.

One day, Ren is falsely accused of hacking into a British-area server and sentenced to exile back to Earth—a punishment set for one year later. Secretly wishing they'd just execute him instead, Ren soon learns he's not alone: seven other high-school students were also sentenced to exile.

Meanwhile on Tellus—a planet that's become as rotten as a filthy public toilet—strange things are happening: protests, coups, Earth-return movements... and eventually World War IV.

As their exile approaches, Ren and the others grapple with questions: Why exile to Earth? Who framed them? Who are they really? How will humanity survive from now on? Which planet—Earth or Tellus—is their true home?

Everything will be decided by war.
