The Underground King has died. A title that has controlled the United States from the shadows for millennia, a title that in its current state, has no one to claim the throne.

Mia is a young college student, recovering from a mistake that cost them her life as an athlete. Struggling with school, a dwindling social life, and the loss of her athletic abilities, Mia is kidnapped and forced into a game for her life; a game to decide who the next Underground King is.
