Staff cutbacks left the school's drama club in disrepair, so the principal rallied for a public performance to be performed at the school's fall culture festival.
Nanoha and Komomo were announced as the leads. Practice began, and fellow actress Nadesico voiced her opposition to the choice of casting Komomo.
The reason was Komomo's personality.
She was a wallflower in the drama club, too shy to carry a lead role because of her obviously timid nature. Her stage fright was so bad she didn't even show up for rehearsals. But Komomo was committed. She just needed a method to get over her fear.
