In the year 20XX, Japan enacted the so-called “Love Communication Act,” making “Love Communication Studies” (or “LoveCom Studies”) a mandatory subject in schools across the country.
Around this time, the protagonist, Funaki Hiroya, returns to his hometown in Japan after spending years abroad. Living with him are his childhood friends—older sisters from the neighborhood he used to play with. Now grown into beautiful women, they’ve become teachers and senior students at the local academy.
Hiroya, however, has spent his time in Silicon Valley, working at a cutting-edge research facility surrounded by top-secret, high-tech gadgets. As a result, he’s grown into a socially awkward, tech-obsessed young man with zero interest in romance.
Worried, the sisters think:
If this keeps up, Hiroya’s going to spend his whole life surrounded by machines and die alone…! To prevent that, we’ll have to teach him the right way to love!
And so begins their daily “sisterly lessons” in love.
