Gates Motel

The protagonist is an 18 years old guy who grew up in a family of five. His parents were Norma and Frank Gates, until he lost his father in a freak accident.

Before his death, Frank had started to drink, and transformed into a complete jerk, not paying attention to anyone, so Norma was the only parent for all of you. Recently you discovered, that Norma had suffered from Frank's abuse, but didn't tell anyone about her problems, and just lived with it - till Frank's accident. He has died from falling down the stairs while being completely drunk, and finished his miserable life quickly and painlessly. Nevertheless, the pension you received - due to loss of the breadwinner - gave you the chance to start some business.
