Misaki Ariake's dad is the manager of a college baseball team. He was let go for poor results, but did really well in his new post. He even developed a rivalry with another team: Kabayaki University.

Kabayaki University manages to consistently produce some of professional baseball's greatest talent. Against them, Ariake's team has no chance... but they do have... Misaki!
