Red Thread of Fate

You play as the protagonist Yua, who after a mysterious accident which caused him temporary memory loss, finds out he can see the red strings of fate. But many questions are on his mind: Why can he see them? Where is his father, whom he last remember seeing before the accident? And why is he unable to see the string on his own hand; is it invisible to him, or simply because it is not there at all?
