The scene is England at the end of the 19th century, the foggy city London.
In a corner of that gray city the Evans family lives.
The wife Jane married her 10 years older aristocrat husband Lesley a year ago.
The commoner Jane struggled hard to get used to the different society she was thrust into, everyday she worried about becoming a woman that is suitable for her husband. However she kept failing, a day never passed without a fight with her selfish husband.
