A college student falls in love with Saeko, an assistant professor in the lab where he studies, and the couple marry upon his graduation. He and his new wife begin living together as a happy family alongside Ikumi, her daughter from a previous marriage. However, tragedy strikes as the three of them are in an automobile accident which kills Saeko and claims Ikumi's eye.

Ikumi begins to lash out with anger and hatred, and the remorseful protagonist, who doesn't blame her, passively accepts his daughter's ire. She gets rougher by the day, and eventually, a twisted love-hate relationship begins as she starts to toy with the protagonist's body. While being tossed around by her feelings, he begins to react.
