She is a traveling merchant whom Celica meets soon after his 170 years long sleep ends. Shamara is very much alike Kaya in terms of personality and behavior, treating him quite like a helpless younger brother even. It is never revealed whether she is really Kaya's reincarnation but the setting allows for souls to be reincarnated.
