Mahiru has already won several awards for her photography, and has a reputation for her skill at taking photos of people. Though she cares about her friends and is good at taking care of others, though she holds boys to rather high standards. Once she suspects that a boy is unreliable, she starts lecturing him. In fact, as soon as she meets Hajime, she makes a mental note to remember him as "Unreliable Hajime".
