Belarus initially acts in a cold manner towards Rare in the same way that she treats everyone else at the academy. She first meets Rare late at night in town together with Hungary, when they save her from an unknown man. When the two begin to hang out, she often sidelines the conversation in favour of mentioning her brother Russia.
