Tsuyu Minakuchi's son, Mare's husband, and Yuza's father. Captain of the fishing vessel Minakuchi-Maru. He and his wife were among the 10 casualties of the Southern Sea Disaster after his vessel was foundered. Around twenty years ago, he grew close to Mare and eventually married her a few years later. The two would go on to have a son of their own, who they named Yuza. The three generations lived peacefully under the same roof for more than ten years, until the Kameshima Southern Sea Disaster tore them apart. * * * He lost his father in the war when he was 3 years old.
