Touko's mother. A taciturn, gloomy lady who seems rather frail. Doesn't get out much; she devotes all her time to her household duties. [Edited from MangaGamer] Chizuru is Touko's adoptive mother, taking her in as a foster child during her early years. At first, Chizuru earnestly worked on building a mother-daughter bond. However, as Touko grew older and more beautiful, Chizuru noticed her brother, Fumiya, becoming attracted to Touko. This realization caused a rift to develop in their relationship. For Chizuru, her brother was her entire world, and the agony of feeling him drawn to Touko was unbearable.
