A third-year student at the school. On the surface, she is a female student who belongs to the Marine Sports Club. Behind her back, she is a member of the Ookumiza. Among them, she is one of the shrine maidens (yuta) who serve the protagonist, Ichito, and is a close aide to the king. Possessing a commensurate amount of dragon power (seji), Shioko can freely control fire. She speaks in a dignified, masculine tone. She is earnest, honest, and pure, but also inflexible and rigid, which can cause trouble for Ichito even without her realizing it.
