Akihiko has no job, dreams or money. So he wonders around wondering what he will do. Until he meets Umezawa Tomiko the landlady of an apartment complex called Paradise Mannor. She offers Akihiko a job at the apartment complex as a manager when she realize that he is young and unemployed.
