When Noel moves back to Hawthorn, Natalie is the one who takes her in. She, along with her daughter, Zoey, enjoy the company, especially in light of the recent death of Natalie's husband. While she maintains a strong front, the grief has affected her more heavily than she lets on, so much so that Zoey has taken notice. Her friendship with Elliot and Noel's presence both help lessen the pain.
