Role: Almoner Charity is gregarious and kind. She discovered Catherine's body, and I can scarcely bring myself to ask her about all that whenever I see her big soft smile. She seems to have seen a lot in her life, and she's served at several abbeys. I wonder why she's settled here? I also wonder how she puts up with Marta's cynical exterior.
