Karen's childhood friend, neighbor and kouhai at school. She uses fake Kansai accent despite never having set foot in the Kansai region. Himawari tends to be shy around new people and relies a lot on Karen, who treats her like a younger sister. Being the only active member of the photography club she got roped into joining the drama club's field trip and decided to bring Karen along as moral support.
