Ibuki Hinata is a fellow second-year student, her class representative, and Ui's closest if not best friend. Besides her academic excellence and status on the student council, she is also an active member of the archery club, having practiced the sport since middle school. Her first acquaintance with Kazuma is a suspicious and disparaging one; much to her own confusion, his kindness rubs off and she ultimately develops a soft-spot for him.
