The protagonist of the story. An airheaded martial artist who has lived most of his life in poverty and has no hesitation about sponging off his neighbors and childhood friend Suzuka. He is a skilled fighter but about as lazy as can be. He is technology-incompetent due to having little to do with modern tech throughout his childhood, and he has almost no sense of self-control. He will do anything to get out of working a normal job, up to and including sponging off anyone who will let him, hunting crawfish in the river, and selling live insects to children.
