Addison Payne

One of the key Camarilla figures in NYC. In life, he was a ruthlessly brilliant political and economic theorist, a free market ideologue. Towards the end he became driven by the fear of death, prolonging his life using every possible medical procedure and using all measures at his disposal to find the key to immortality. Unlike many who tried, he actually succeeded. A powerful Ventrue representative found him on his deathbed, his body broken down in nearly every way, but decided his mind was worth preserving. Of course, his immense wealth, privilege, contacts, and access didn't hurt — he remains one of the most valuable assets Panhard has on Wall Street. Eternally tying Addison to his broken-down state was just an added twist of cruelty, a reminder for Payne about how close he was to his end, and how grateful he should be for being preserved.
