Shouta's aunt, however since she is Rena's older sister she has no blood relation to him. While she was once married she lost her husband in an accident 6 years ago and has been single since. When Shouta was kicked out she was asked by Rena to look after him and she has done so for 2 years. As someone without any children she at first didn't know how to interact with a young boy, however they now have a relationship like brother and sister. She is a former representative for the Japanese Olympic swim team and was skilled enough to win a bronze medal. Now retired she works as a trainer at a swim club, she also helps out as an outside coach for Shouta's swim club.
