Grendel's long-suffering dogs-body. Given all the tasks that Grendel doesn't want (or can't) do - which means Katherine usually has to all work herself. Together with a lack of holidays, Katherine has been driven to the brink, resulting in her resenting Grendel. She does have plans for revenge, so everything should turn out fine...
