Ryo dresses as a girl because he prefers girls' clothes, but he doesn't identify as a girl. All the same, he doesn't mind if people think he's a girl, because it makes his life easier. He doesn't make friends easily, and is naturally wary of others, having being bullied in the past for the clothes he wears.
