She grew up in a single-parent home and went to college with the support of her older sister, Paulownia. She has been working part-time as a babysitter for Johnny since high school, and after entering college, she also started working part-time at the Amaryllis nightclub. She used to have a faint crush on Dog Head. She introduced her friend Yimei, a model, to Yvet and helped solve the Yanyan murder case. After graduating from college, she joined Poisoned Apple Weekly as a reporter because of her wide social experience. She is known for her fearless personality, and is highly respected by the editor-in-chief, Ms. Mok.
