A self-conceited and self-centered young man. Possessing a pompous temperament, Zen has an unshakeable confidence in himself. He seriously believes that there is no shinigami better than him. Zen is actually a very skilled shinigami, however, he sometimes messes up in strange things. Zen's mistakes are all cleaned up by his partner, Rikka.
