Hajime is a second-year student at Ryuumonbuchi High School. She is Touka's personal maid and has her hands chained to avoid her using sleight-of-hand tricks during the tournament. Her father (who is a magician and also the one who taught her the sleight-of-hand trick) sold her to Touka for cash due to having a difficulties to earn money as a magician. Hajime for the most part is easygoing, though she does get a little jealous when Touka acts friendly towards other people. From her time when she was younger, she had worn a moon tattoo on her cheek though after playing against Koromo she took it off and now wears a star instead. Since being brought in by Touka, she now considers her mahjong team as a family.
