Keiko is a cheerful and caring girl. She suffers hospitalization just before entering high school, giving herself a late start into her new school life. She falls in love with Mikihiko. Gradually finding out that high school is different from middle school, she soon learns that her friends adapt to their new stage in life in ways she didn't expect.
